Sundays have been a time for rest, worship, and being grateful for what you have in life. Take a minute to give yourself a little attention on Sundays. Do something that fills your cup- after all how can we be there for others if we are never there for ourselves? Here are a few easy ways to give back to yourself. Have some tea, put your bare feet in the grass and get grounded by the earth’s energy, read a book, write in your journal, give your skin some extra TLC with some nourishing treatment, cook a craved meal, find a reason to laugh today, and look for the silver lining in a difficult situation you are dealing with. To get started in your path of healing I have created a journal for grieving. There are prompts to help you sort through your thoughts and help you think of things you haven’t thought before. I encourage you to get outside of your comfort zone and share some of your most difficult thoughts with a therapist or friend who can help you gain a different perspective… after all it’s the things we won’t talk about that hurt us the most.
